Project Engineer PE - Water & Wastewater/Utilities
Miller Gray is seeking a growth-oriented PE with strong technical, organizational, and communication skills. As a Project Engineer, you will work closely with Principals and coordinate with clients, sub-consultants, and other Miller Gray staff.
Project Types include:
Roadways
Water/Wastewater utility design
Pump Stations
Lift Stations
Responsibilities:
- Performing due diligence and research tasks
- Assisting in preparation and monitoring of project schedules
- Assisting with design and drawing development in AutoCAD Civil3D
- Assisting with the preparation of engineering plans and reports
- Coordinating with regulatory review agencies
- Assisting with monitoring of work for compliance to applicable codes and design criteria
- Providing technical assistance during the construction phases
- Ensuring internal approval of assigned tasks when completed
- Effectively communicating with other team members
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited college or university with a B.S. in Civil Engineering
8+ years post-graduate industry experience in public works with an emphasis on utility design
Texas PE License or ability to obtain within 6 months from start date
High level proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
Leadership skills including communication and collaboration, with the ability to coordinate and complete tasks in a team-oriented manner
