Miller Gray is a locally owned, growing civil engineering firm based in Austin, and we're looking for a licensed Professional Engineer to help lead our stormwater and drainage projects across Central Texas. This is an exciting opportunity to work on meaningful public infrastructure projects for municipalities and counties, including storm drain improvements, flood risk reduction, watershed studies, floodplain analysis, stream restoration, and roadway drainage. You'll work alongside experienced project managers, take ownership of project design, mentor junior staff, and help deliver resilient infrastructure that protects communities and improves water resources.

Miller Gray is a locally owned, growing civil engineering firm based in Austin, and we are looking for a Civil Engineering Intern to join our team for Fall 2026. This is a paid internship designed for a civil engineering student in their junior year who is eager to gain hands-on experience, learn from experienced engineers, and explore a career in public infrastructure design.

Our work focuses primarily on public infrastructure projects for municipalities and counties across Central Texas, with an emphasis on hydraulics and hydrology, stormwater management, drainage, flood control, and water quality. This internship will also provide exposure to water, wastewater, and utility/pipeline design projects, giving students the opportunity to build a broad technical foundation while working on real-world projects.

At Miller Gray, we believe future engineers learn best through meaningful project experience, direct mentorship, and a collaborative team environment. As a small and growing local firm, we offer interns the chance to work closely with senior staff, ask questions, build practical skills, and see how engineering solutions make a direct impact in the communities we serve.
